Invisalign is able to treat a fairly wide range of orthodontic issues. Invisalign can treat gapped teeth, crowded teeth, crooked teeth, and moderate bite issues. For particularly severe orthodontic issues, though, braces will be required. Only an orthodontist will be able to tell you for sure which method is best for you. Additionally, Invisalign cannot be used to significantly rotate teeth or to move teeth vertically.
In addition to the invisible nature of the aligners worn during Invisalign treatment, the aligners are also removable. This feature allows the patient to practice better oral hygiene, as you simply brush and floss your teeth like normal. This aspect of Invisalign stands in direct contrast with the irremovable brackets and wires of braces that tend to trap food particles.
