Getting a dental bridge typically requires about two visits to one of our dentists in San Fernando Valley. During the first visit, the adjacent teeth will need to be prepared so that the crowns on the bridge can comfortably fit over them. An impression will be taken of these altered teeth, and your bridge will then be designed in a lab.
A temporary bridge will be placed in your mouth until the permanent one is ready, and during your second visit, the permanent bridge will be adhered into place, and our dentist can make any minor adjustments to make sure it fits comfortably.
