The average cost of dental implants may not be a good indicator as to what your price will be because the final cost can vary drastically from patient to patient. For example, if you have been missing a tooth for a while, your jaw bone may have already lost a good amount of its density and can no longer support an implant. These patients may still qualify for a dental implant, but they will need a bone grafting procedure performed first in order to prepare the jaw for the implant. This additional step will add in to the final cost.
The number of implant you will require will also affect the price. Some patients will only need one implant to replace a single tooth while other patients will need multiple implants to replace several teeth.
