Full Dentures
Used to replace all of the teeth in the mouth, these are what many people think of as dentures. Full dentures consist of artificial teeth set in artificial, flesh-colored gums. To stay in place, full dentures rely on suction between the artificial gums and the real gums underneath.
Partial Dentures
Partial dentures can be used to replace a few or several teeth. Rather than using suction to remain stationary, partial dentures rely on clasps that hold onto remaining natural teeth.
Implant-Supported Dentures
These dentures offer a totally stationary alternative to traditional dentures. Unlike other dentures, these ones are held in place by dental implants. One popular option, All On Four, uses four implants per jaw to keep the implants totally stable even during meals and conversations.
Several types of dentures are available to suit different goals. Immediately after getting any of these options, patients again enjoy normal appearance, speaking, and chewing. At a consultation with our dentist in San Fernando Valley, you can learn more about the dentures offered at our office.
